This year has already blessed us with so much incredible new music from California artists that it’s getting harder and harder to pare down our Monday Moods to just five tracks. Thankfully our Stay Golden playlist knows no limits, so make sure you jump over to Spotify and give it a follow so you can stay tuned in to all the latest music we add.
This week we’ve got new tracks from The Deep West and Dylan Dunlap, two artists who are both dropping new EPs today. (The Deep West are self-releasing California Flowers, while Dunlap’s Soldier On is through Nettwerk Music.) Epitaph punk poppers Teenage Wrist will drop Earth Is A Black Hole next Friday, but we’ve included their largest single, “Yellowbelly,” in this week’s Mood. Oakland-born, LA-based multi-instrumentalist Tim Atlas teams up with honeywhip to deliver “Peace At Last,” and last but not least, WILD and Zac Barnett come through with “Goin’ Back,” the title track from WILD’s full-length released just last month. All in all, a rousing, triumphant mix of tunes that’ll have you blasting the volume and pogoing around your living room.
Bradford Stewart Designs Collection Entirely for Outdoor Display
Listening to jazz in his father’s design studio, former musician and painter Bradford Stewart knew at an early age he wanted to be a musician. Bored with practicing scales in music school, he dropped out and hit the road with an eight-piece funk/rock/jazz band. When the hectic life of a professional musician began to take its toll, he turned to painting.
